Notice: Please allow at least a few days’ notice, if possible, to schedule pet sitting or a new client consultation. A New client complimentary consultation is required before any services may be scheduled.
Tipping: While it is never a requirement, if you are pleased with the care that your pet sitter or dog walker has provided for you, you may show your appreciation by adding a tip to your form of payment and the sitter or walker will receive 100% of it, or you may give it directly to them.
Reservations: Please book any new reservations online or by phone call, 720-507-7297. For cancellations, it is best to call our office. Please do not schedule new pet sitting visits or cancel appointments with the pet sitters. This has led to miscommunications about visits, and clients being charged for appointments that had been previously cancelled.
Meds: We are pleased to administer medications at no charge other than subcutaneous fluids which is an additional $15.00 per service. We can discuss this during the initial consultation. Our staff is trained to administer meds including insulin injections. We are not licensed veterinarians so we will not perform any care that is beyond our scope of training. All pets must be fairly easy to handle during medication care. If your pet requires extensive medical care it may be best to have your pet stay with a Veterinary Hospital during your absence. We will discuss all medication needs during the initial consultation.
Excessive Pet Mess Clean-Up: We know this happens on occasion and we will do our best to clean up any messes to the best of our ability with the resources that we have, however if it requires us to spend additional time beyond the service time allowed, there may be an additional charge.
Holiday Pet Sitting: Caring 4 Paws Holiday schedule is, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter weekend (Fri-Sun), Memorial Weekend (Sat-Mon), Independence Day July 4, Labor Day weekend (Sat-Mon), Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Caring 4 Paws commitment to communication: Your pet sitter will call you on the first day of service to let you know they have arrived and will stay in contact with you through email, text and phone calls during the duration of your absence. We also provide you with a report card of your pets adventures and care for your reading enjoyment when you return. Caring 4 Paws staff will also send photos via phone or email to keep you from missing your furry friends too much while you are away.
Client’s Communication: We ask that when you return from your trip or extended leave that you call, or email Caring 4 Paws so that we know you have made it home safe and that your pets are being cared for by you. We will worry if we do not get this call or email for the well being of you and your pets.

Business office hours – Our office hours are 7am – 9pm and we are open 365 days a year. If we do not answer when you call we are probably out taking care of our furry friends and will return your call as soon as possible. Weekend office hours are 8am – 2pm.
Early and Late Appointments: We generally do our pet sitting visits no earlier than 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. and no later than 9:00 – 10:00 p.m. If you have a request for an earlier or later appointment, there may be a small fee to accommodate your request. Very late and very early appointments can pose a safety threat to our sitters.
Travel Delays: It is rarely a problem for us to continue pet sitting should you be delayed on your trip and not be able to return home as expected. Please notify us of any delays in your return as soon as possible. Regular rates for the extra visits will apply.
Emergency Contingency Plan: The care of your pets is always our greatest concern, however in the event of a natural disaster or evacuation we will need to have a back up plan for a neighbor, friend or family member to help ensure the safety of your pet(s) when they are in our care. Of course, we will always have contact with you if this should ever occur to make sure that they are safe. We will require you to provide us with an emergency phone number for this type of situation during the initial consultation.
Appointment Times: We will make every effort to follow your pet’s routine and visit your home at your requested times. However, we cannot promise to be there at an exact time each day; we prefer to have a “ballpark” time that is acceptable to you and your pets, during which we can promise to visit your home.
Refund Policy: It is always our goal to provide you with Professional, Compassionate, Trustworthy and Dependable Service. If ever you are not 100% happy with our services, please talk directly with our owner and we will be sure to do our best to resolve any and all issues. We are very dedicated to providing ALL our clients and furry friends with the BEST possible care!
